- Northamber has announced its financial results for the 14 months ended 30 June. The unaudited figures show turnover jumped to #314 million and pre-tax profit increased to #7.9 million. Operating margin increased to 2.8 per cent and return from capital employed was up 32 per cent.
- Computer Associates has invested an undisclosed amount in Sequel Technology, an internet software firm. Mark Sokel, senior vice president at CA , will take a seat on the Sequel board.
- Kingston Technologies has sold off its networking and storage division to Taiwanese company Delta.
- An announcement is expected this week concerning the much talked about MBO of Granada Computer Services.
- The post of distribution manager at Microsoft is understood to have been filled by Adele Knox Roberts, currently working as sales and marketing director at Traveling Software. Knox Roberts has previously worked at Microsoft?s Macintosh division, as well as at Frontline and Claris.
