Train to gain: Taylor Made is looking to grow its training business

VAR Taylor Made has bolstered its training prowess with the appointment of a new technical training head.

Marc Barfoot, who previously worked at VAR rival Blue Chip Data Systems, joins the south coast-based firm’s Training Solutions division as head of technical training. His role will be to further develop Taylor Made’s training offering.

Barfoot said: “Taylor Made Training Solutions is a forward-thinking company with huge potential to excel within its technical portfolio. It is the opportunity I have sought and I am looking forward to being a part of its successful future.”

Nigel Taylor, managing director of Taylor Made, said: “This is the final piece of the jigsaw that will allow Taylor Made Training Solutions to become a major player both regionally and nationally when it comes to Technical IT training, as well as our already well-established reputation for our ‘developing people and performance’ coaching.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Marc to the team – with his track record and aspirations, it was an easy decision to make.”
