Mediasurface hunts content management partners

Vendor launches partner programme for its Morello enterprise content management solution

Content management vendor Mediasurface has launched the Morello Alliance Programme (MAP) and is searching for new resellers to join as an Accredited, Strategic or Global partners.

After seeing success in Europe with its 50 per cent channel model in the Baltic region, MediaSurface is now applying it focus to the UK channel with its Morello solution.

Morello is an enterprise solution used to power intranets, extranets, websites and other digital channels for Global 1000 companies.

Andy Peart, chief marketing officer of Mediasurface, said the Morello product currently has only a handful of UK partners, including LogicaCMG, whereas its Immediacy product for website and intranet management has 70 and its Pepperio product for SMEs has 50.

Alliance Partners will benefit from full sales and training, education for consultants and hands on help from Mediasurface’s technical and support teams. Partners are also included in the Mediasurface Morello Partner events programme and will be entitled to joint marketing and PR.

Peart added: “Morello is sold direct or through a small amount of channel partners, so Mediasurface wants to expand on its resellers and implementation partners for this product.”

Mediasurface is on the look out for up to ten active partners to continue its recent overall growth. Peart said the vendor has already seen growth of 30 per cent this year, 17 per cent the previous year and 42 per cent in 2006.

“Mediasurface does not want loads of partners and it is only looking for resellers that can help with the implementation of Morello into the market,” he added.

The vendor claims resellers can use the Morello as a platform, which can add value through consultancy, design, digital design, implementation, support and training.
