Frontline to unite Ireland

Frontline has consolidated its service functions to include its Irish branch, following the distributor's SAP R3 installation.

By the end of 1996, Irish resellers will gain access to Frontline's full range of networking kit, PCs, PC components, peripherals, software and supplies. Frontline Ireland will also be able to use the distributor's UK logistics centre for next-day delivery in the Republic.

But the Dublin-based operation will now be geared solely to sales and marketing, the company admitted.

Consolidating its position as the most prominent broadline distributor in Ireland, Frontline said it will concentrate on relationships with its resellers in the area. Datech 2000 has already been included in the service consolidation that the distributor is introducing.
