Networking distributor os offering free market intelligence to VARs
Networking distributor Westcon Group is offering free market intelligence to resellers who sign up to any of its new go-to-market programmes through a tie-up with research firm Current Analysis.
The distributor’s OneDefense, OneVoice, VoicePoint and newly-launched SecurityPoint programmes already feature a range of free tools designed to boost resellers’ skills throughout the end-user sales cycle.
Now Westcon has linked the back-end of each of the four accompanying portals to market intelligence and product data from Current Analysis.
Duncan Potter, vice-president of worldwide marketing at Westcon, told CRN: “The segment we’re expecting partners to use the most is product line comparisons; that’s the core source of information.” He said the feedback the firm has received was positive.
Potter claimed that 5,000 resellers had already signed up to the programmes worldwide.
