Acronis unveils partner portal
Storage vendor seeks to strengthen bond with partners through online tool

Storage software management vendor Acronis has launched an EMEA partner portal to support and engage with its channel.
The portal provides Acronis’ resellers and distributors with 24 hour access to sales and marketing collateral, in addition to technical resources allowing partners to gain in depth knowledge of Acronis and its solutions.
Available to all Acronis partners, the portal will also offer a hotline, open during office hours, to answer partner enquiries.
Kevin Moreau, general manager UK and Ireland at Acronis, said: “Our channel has grown by 300 partners in the last year – we would now like to engage more with that channel and help support it.
“The partner portal frees up our own resources allowing more time for dedicated account management and putting together more business opportunities for partners.”
An online community platform will be available to all Acronis partners and certified resellers will be listed on the site in the Partner Locator increase visibility.
The portal will also enable partners to register sales opportunities from the end of Q1.
“Acronis wants to make it easier for partners to go to market and create leads in this current climate,” added Moreau.
