Avaya has launched updated versions of its self-service software. The voice over IP vendor unveiled Avaya Voice Portal 4.0, Interactive Response 3.0 and Avaya Dialog Designer 4.0. Through speech-enabled self service, users are able to use spoken commands via a phone, which then relay information to systems.

Vendors of small office/home office (SoHo) wireless LAN products have shipped more than 100 million units over the past three years, according to analyst firm Dell’Oro Group. The study also found that in the second quarter 2007, SoHo wireless LAN market revenues grew by more than 15 per cent compared with the same period last year.
