Tidy loses another venture to liquidators

The former director of defunct distributor Anglo Corporation, Stuart Tidy, has experienced another company going into liquidation.

Richard Floyd and Geoff Carton-Kelly, of accountancy company Baker Tilly, were nominated as joint liquidators for Vocom Group at a creditors' meeting held on 29 October.

Tidy was the sole director of the computer software consultancy and reseller.

Vocom was another on the list of firms that have been run by Tidy, a director of Anglo Technology Group. He was also a director of Anglo Corporation, which fell into administration in February last year with debts of almost #7 million and was later liquidated (PC Dealer, 1 July). Anglo Corporation was the retail arm of the Technology Group, for which Tidy is still registered as a director.

According to Companies House, Vocom Group changed its name from Anglo Technology Group plc in October 1997.

Documents also filed at Companies House showed Tidy has 34 appointments with six resignations.

It was understood that Tidy now works at Capital Technology in Godalming, where Vanessa Tidy is registered as secretary.

Tidy refused to comment.
