Anglia takes a trip down under
The consutancy firm and Microsoft ISV has won a contract with a Sydney-based fruit distribution firm
Ambitious consultancy Anglia Business Solutions has staked its claim on a new hemisphere with its LINKFresh ISV offering.
The firm has secured its first Australian LINKFresh customer in the form of Sydney-based The N&A Fruit Distributors, which ships fresh produce wholesales to major supermarkets in Australia, Asia and the Middle East.
LINKFresh is Anglia’s in-house developed software based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV technology. The solution will be deployed by Anglia’s authorised LINKFresh reseller in Australia, Dialog Information Technology.
David Hurley, managing director of Anglia, said: “We are pleased that the industry specific functionality within LINKFresh has helped secure this 30-user contract for our partner Dialog.
“Dialog has identified a significant new vertical market opportunity with more than 200 fresh produce organisations in Australia that could benefit from the LINKFresh solution. Anglia’s team look forward to a successful deployment at N&A Fruit Distributors as the foundation for further success with the product in the southern hemisphere.”
Rob Cathels, director of The N&A Fruit Distributors said: “The need to replace the current system is driven by a number of factors, including the complexities of managing an expanding an evolving business and the desire to stay ahead of our competitors. One of the key features that attracted us to Microsoft Dynamics NAV is its robust reporting and business intelligence capabilities that will allow us to enter data once and use it many times for different purposes.”
Cathels added that improving the availability of real-time management information would give the business a great competitive advantage.
