IP-based services in bloom for daisy
Telecoms company offers channel white label IP-based offering, to help VARs compete with ISPs
Telecoms firm daisy is hoping its first IP-based channel offering will enable VARs to take on larger ISPs.
The company has launched its white label Optimum Broadband range to reseller and wholesale partners and is hoping an attractive commission set-up will tempt VARs to invest. The offering is daisy's first significant launch of an IP-based product into the channel. Data product manager Cathryn Whitefoot claimed this marked the start of a major push towards IP-based services.
“We have been testing products under our data banner and finalising and developing solutions in this range for some time," she said. “We believe we have an aggressive business broadband product for the SMB, falling in line with our current portfolio of data services which will be further enhanced with additional IP-based products.”
Sales director Mark Hickey added: "The Optimum product makes use of Next Generation Networking, which many competitors do not yet have access to, providing business contention ratios and fast internet access, all of which make it an attractive and saleable proposition for resellers and business partners to retail.
"This offer underlines daisy’s position as a true provider of unified communications in the channel and we are sure rivals will struggle to match the product for price, quality and commission.”
