Take Accton for faster Ethernet

Middlesex-based Ethernet manufacturer Accton Technology has added the New Workgroup Integration products to its Fast Ethernet family.

The range includes the Fast Switch Hub-8s and Fast Switch Hub-8mi SNMP backbone switches; the Switch Hub 8se segment switch; the Fast Ether Hub-12i and Fast Ether Hub-12mi SNMP stackable hubs; and the Fast Ether Hub-12s, and Fast Ether Hub 12se standalone hubs.

The range has been developed to allow Ethernet workgroups to expand into the growing Fast Ethernet network infrastructure. It incorporates several of Accton?s newly developed features, including the Smart Watch LED display to ease troubleshooting.

These products have been designed to help customers with small and medium-sized enterprises link to a broader networking architecture, integrating the workgroup into the enterprise.?

The backbone switches come with eight 10/100Mbps dual-speed, self-sensing ports. They are compatible with any installed Ethernet hub, router, bridge or switch, and they are designed to connect any 10/100Mbps shared or switched workgroups to Fast Ethernet products.
