Ingram shuffles EMEA team

Less than a week after European head announces he is stepping down, the broadliner announces more top level changes

Broadline distributor Ingram Micro has seen more management changes in less than a week as it shuffles it European team around.

The firm also recently announced EMEA head Hans Koppen will be stepping down in December to be replaced by Jay Forbes (CRN Online 31 August).

In the most recent shakeup, Vincenzo Baggio has been appointed senior vice president Ingram Micro and vice president Benelux and Mediterranean region, replacing Dominique Meyer. Baggio will relocate to Italy and be responsible for the company’s operations in Spain, Italy, Belgium and The Netherlands and the sales office in Portugal.

Johan Vandenbussche, currently vice president Ingram Micro European northern region has been appointed vice president Ingram Micro Pan-European business unit. In this role Vandenbussche will be responsible for Ingram Micro European components, networking services and imaging & supplies divisions. Vandenbussche will be tasked with expanding the company’s centralised business model and further improve efficiency. He also has responsibility for the continued development of Ingram’s AIDC/POS/RFID business across Europe.

Finally Dominique Meyer, currently vice president Ingram Micro Mediterranean and Benelux Region has been appointed vice president vendor management and business development and planning. Meyer will also take a leading role in identifying strategic growth opportunities as well as developing the company’s core business at the European level.
