True Colours signs with Gefen

Distributor bolsters its product portfolio by signing digital video vendor Gefen

True Colours Distribution (TCD), which was acquired by audiovisual and IT distributor Midwich in April, has signed a distribution agreement with digital video vendor Gefen UK.

Headquartered in the US, Gefen's products split, distribute, extend and convert high-definition (HD) TV for any digital video environment.

Jon Phillips, managing director of Gefen UK, said: “TCD are very well positioned in the market and have an abundance of experience with similar product lines. Their professionalism and attention to pre- and post- sales enquiries will allow them to deliver the outstanding standard of service and support that Gefen customers around the world have come to expect."

Charles Flynn, EU sales manager, at Gefen, added: “We were a couple of years’ ahead of any other company when extending DVI signals, and we are now at least two generations in front of other companies in developing HDMI products.”

Iain Campbell, sales and marketing director at TCD, said: “The appointment of Gefen has strengthened our product portfolio. We understand the technology and have seen real requirements from our resellers.”
