Eight-year Oracle veteran joins database security specialist and is tasked with growing indirect revenue
Steve Hurn: "Alder a key appointment"
Database security vendor Secerno has nabbed Oracle veteran Ben Alder as its new EMEA director of partner sales.
Alder spent eight years with Oracle and was responsible for managing partners in the financial services and retail spaces. He has been tasked with instigating new partner initiatives to help grow Secerno's channel revenues. The company indicated that Alder would be expected to strengthen existing relationships as well as recruit new VARs. He has also been charged with growing Business Partners' License Revenue.
Alder said: "I am excited to be joining Secerno and am looking forward to working with great people and products. I made this move as I was keen to work in a fast-paced, growing company and feel Secerno offers me an opportunity to really challenge myself in this sort of environment.”
Secerno chief executive Steve Hurn added: "Ben is a key appointment for Secerno as he brings great channel expertise and existing relationships to the company, combined with core technical knowledge. We are delighted to have him on board.”
