Kim Jones takes helm of UK operations with immediate effect
Just 24 hours after parting company with one UK managing director, Sun has appointed a replacement.
Kim Jones, will assume the post of president and managing director with immediate effect. She replaces Trudy Norris-Grey, who left the company to 'pursue other interests'.
In a statement, Sun said: "We can confirm that Kim Jones will be joining the Global sales and services EMEA leadership team and has been appointed, effective immediately, to the post of president and managing director for the company's UK and Ireland operations.
"Kim has been with Sun for twenty years and brings a wealth of executive leadership experience from across geographies and business functions. Most recently she was the vice president of Global government, education and health care, where she led a diverse organization including sales, strategic planning, marketing, business development, external research, programs and collaborations. "
Sun added he expects to announce a replacement for Jones soon.
