Comms-care seals Microsoft Gold

Support services firm invests in engineering to help bag second vendor accolade within a year

After ramping up its investment in engineering resources, support services specialist Comms-care has bagged the Microsoft Gold Partner accreditation.

The announcement comes within a year of the Crewe-based firm's achievement of Cisco Gold Partner status. To attain the Microsoft seal of approval, Comms-care had to demonstrate its proficiency across a variety of technologies.

The support services company claimed that demonstrating its channel-focused approach was key to achieving the accreditation and indicated the customer case studies it submitted were especially significant. Comms-care also increased its headcount of Microsoft-certified engineers and splashed out on training to ensure staff were brought up to speed on the software giant's technology.

Technical director Darren Briscoe said: "We are extremely pleased to have attained Gold-certified partner status within the Microsoft partner programme. This achievement once again demonstrates to our channel partners the commitment and expertise Comms-care possesses when providing multi-vendor, channel-only support.”
