C2000 and Syscap give VARs finance boost
Distributor and leasing firm team up to launch finance scheme designed to speed up deal closure for VARs
Andy Dow: Scheme will help VARs compete without cutting costs
Distribution giant Computer 2000 (C2000) has launched a new finance initiative aimed at making it easier for partners to close deals.
Access to the C2000 End User Finance Scheme is provided via an online portal, designed to increase the speed it takes resellers to get quotations underwritten and approved. It also notifies partners once their credit request has been approved.
More than 30,000 products are covered by the scheme, which is available for purchases worth more than £3,000.
Andy Dow, marketing director at C2000, said: “Having ready access to finance will make it easier for the channel to bundle equipment and services into one competitive offering without having to cut costs.”
C2000 worked with financing company Syscap to put the scheme together.
Philip White, Syscap chief executive, said: “This is a very significant deal for us as it gives us the exclusive right to provide finance though this programme to thousands of IT vendors.”
