Azurri deploys printers for Robert Dyas across UK

Homeware and gardening stores target reduced printing costs

Robert Dyas' chain has opted for Oki print devices in each outlet

Bolton reseller Azurri Computer Systems has rolled out a full fleet of 110 printers for homeware and gardening equipment retailer Robert Dyas.

Rita Linton, brand marketing manager at Robert Dyas, said Azurri had installed one Oki B6500 A4 mono printer into each of its 110 UK stores.

“The devices are simple to operate and no training is required,” Linton said.

“We wanted a printer that was fast, reliable and cost-effective and yet had multiple trays, giving us the flexibility to print on different perforated paper types.”

Azurri will also service and support the deployment. The addition of Pierhouse net.tickIT software will enable Robert Dyas to use the same printers to produce advertising signage and ticketing.

Linton said the deployment is aimed at improving “in-store response time” and reducing printing costs.
