Xploite nets double IBM victory

Storage reseller wins two IBM contracts worth a combined £6.3m

IBM reseller Xploite has announced its managed services and storage subsidiary Anix has won a £5m service contract with a major high street retailer.

The five-year contract will see Anix provide the retailer with maintenance on its IBM hardware and software. Under the terms of the contract Anix will supply its own Technical Support offering, including a 24x7 Service Desk and full contract management.

Ian Smith, chief executive of Xploite, said: “It is very reassuring to see that Anix is continuing to secure long-term service contracts, even in this tough economic climate.”

Anix also recently secured a £1.3m contract with systems integrator Atos Origin to supply IBM hardware in support of a large public sector contract roll-out.
