Assuria seeks reseller to push brand

IT security and compliance software vendor Assuria is hunting for security resellers to spearhead its push into the UK channel.

Although a UK-based firm, Assuria has claimed its brand is better known overseas and currently has just three UK partners: HP Services, Sopra, and Castleforce.
Terry Pudwell, chairman of Assuria, said: “We would like to find another three or four experienced IT security resellers who can deliver services around compliance, security policy implementation and log management.
“There is a big need for end users to comply with international standards, such as ISO 27001.”
Pudwell said Assuria’s trump card was its policy of allowing customers to drive development of the product. “This is quite unique as the larger vendors are committed to roadmaps delivered by their own marketing teams,” he said.
Dave Woodcock, director at Castleforce, said: “This will help with exposure for Assuria, as it’s a name that is not well known in the UK.”
