C2000 boots up VARs
Intensive Microsoft licensing boot camps set to take place over the next three months
Teaching new tricks: C2000 is offering VARs a fast track qualification in Microsoft licensing
Distribution behemoth Computer 2000 (C2000) is set to run another series of its Microsoft Boot Camps during September, October and November.
The camps are aimed at helping resellers gain the training and exams needed to achieve the Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist Lite qualification. The courses also pave the way for resellers to move onto the full Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist (MLSS) qualification.
C2000 will also be running an intensive two-day schedule to help resellers achieve the MLSS qualification. The course has been developed in partnership with Microsoft to fit all eight modules necessary to pass. It will be available free of charge to Microsoft partners on a discretionary basis, the distributor said.
James Reed, general manager of the specialist software business unit at C2000, said: “With a full grasp of Microsoft Open Value Licensing programmes, you will be much better-placed to compete more effectively for new business, advise customers intelligently and ensure that they get the right licensing scheme for their business.
“That in turn will help you to build customer loyalty and retention, and good long-term business relationships.”
