Liaison grows European footprint
Business integration specialist opens UK and Swedish operations to satisfy market demand
"We see considerable market potential and have significant clients in the telecommunications industry." said Sormanen.
In response to growing demand, business system integration and service provider Liaison Technologies is expanding its European operations to new offices in the UK and Sweden.
The firm currently has offices in Finland and the Netherlands, choosing to run its global headquarters out of Atlanta.
Juhani Sormanen, executive vice president of Liaison Technologies, said: “In Sweden, we already have important clients from different industries. In the UK, we see considerable market potential and have significant clients in the telecommunications industry.”
According to market watcher Gartner, companies spent more than $1.5bn (£1bn) on infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and business-to-business (B2B) projects in 2007.
The analyst predicts that by 2011, medium-sized to enterprise companies will at least double the amount of multi-enterprise integration and interoperability projects compared with 2006.
“We believe in steady growth in both of these markets and aim to increase our market share with new clients. Our services and solutions are technology agnostic and business focused, which make them applicable from traditional industry sectors to mobile operators,” added Sormanen.
