Basingstoke-based VAR buys 30-strong ITSM consultancy Fox IT
Done deal: 365 iT says deal represents significant step forward for IT services strategy
Fast-growing VAR 365 iT has increased its services muscle by snapping up IT service management (ITSM) outfit Fox IT for an undisclosed sum.
Woking-based Fox, 365 iT’s fifth acquisition in four years, boasts 30 employees and specialises in consultancy and education around service management and governance.
Basingstoke-based 365 iT was recently ranked as the 15th fastest-growing tech firm in the UK in the Sunday Times Tech Track league table after hitting 96 per cent annual sales growth between 2006 and 2009.
Its other recent conquests include hosting and services specialist 7 Global Group, third-party services firm 5i, and IBM and HP VAR Dynax.
365 iT chief executive Peter MacLean said: "This latest acquisition represents yet another significant step forward consolidating the group's position in the very competitive and rapidly developing IT services market."
Fox IT managing director Paul Speers, said: "The future is undoubtedly very exciting and I believe that Fox IT’s capabilities in ITSM and ITIL strongly complement those of 365."
