Fortinet launches partner scheme

Unified threat management vendor Fortinet has launched a three-tiered Global Alliance Partner Programme

The vendor claimed the scheme, which is divided into Strategic, Solution and Technology partners, will open up more revenue streams to its resellers.

Initial members of the programme include Alcatel-Lucent, Hewlett-Packard (HP) ProCurve and Unisys.

Paul Hennin, EMEA marketing director at Fortinet, said: 'There are so many areas that remain unexploited by Fortinet and we are keen to penetrate these new verticals.

'The aim is to use these new alliance partnerships to open up new markets, which we will then go in and fulfil with our channel partners.'

Paul Congdon, chief technology officer at HP ProCurve, said: 'As a Fortinet Strategic Partner, we are able to collaborate even more closely with them and other Global Alliance partners to solve customer security challenges.'
