Oracle signs Clarity Technology
Vendor reorganises distribution strategy
Oracle has appointed Clarity Technology as its latest Channel Development Partner (CDP) for its entire product range.
Oracle said Clarity will be selling mostly to the enterprise space, recruiting a network of specialist partners focused on Business Intelligence, security, identity management and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and helping the vendor recruit ISVs.
Alan Hartwell, VP technology solutions and channels at Oracle UK, said: “As a result of Oracle’s technology footprint expansion and rapid growth in the infrastructure software business, the requirements from our distribution partners have changed. The existing distribution partners served the business well for a number of years and we thank them for helping us build our channel to what it is today.”
John Unsworth, managing director at Clarity Technology, said: “This represents a significant opportunity for Clarity and we believe that we have the resources and capabilities to help move Oracle’s channel business to the next level. Our job is to help ensure that Oracle has the right partners with the appropriate level of knowledge and skills to capitalise on this opportunity.”
