Cisco Gold partner s2s has bagged a six-figure managed services deal with video games developer Codemasters.
The three-year contract, which was won in association with s2s' parent company Bailey Teswaine, includes the design and implementation of a new network infrastructure.
The roll out will enable 10Gbit delivery to Codemasters’ UK desktops, representing a huge increase from its current 100Mbit network. The contract has a total value of over £400,000.
Jonathan Humphrey, director of IT at Codemasters, said: “This new infrastructure is a crucial element in our expansion programme – it is essential for us to increase the quality of our output while decreasing the production time. We looked for key criteria in our new infrastructure including security, resilience, scalability and performance - s2s and Bailey Teswaine have delivered on every level.”
West Sussex-based s2s’ management of the global network is designed to ensure that Codemasters UK maintains constant contact with all other branches of the organisation.
“The fully managed global network and end device monitoring is incredibly important to our business as we operate 24 hours a day every day,” said Humphrey. “s2s now ensures that our network is always watched and all our branches are serviced even outside of business hours.”
