MaintenanceNet eyes EMEA expansion
Firm hires former Cisco exec to oversee growth plans in the region
Showing support: MaintenanceNet claims channel margins are high in support and maintenance services
Bullish maintenance services firm MaintenanceNet has appointed a dedicated European business manager to spearhead its aggressive expansion in EMEA.
The US-based firm works with distributors, resellers and vendors to supply extended warranty and maintenance contract management services. It has picked Andrew Bray, a former business operations manager at Cisco, to oversee its growth in the region.
His role will also include managing existing relationships with vendors, distributors and resellers as well as finding new ones.
Scott Herron, chief executive of MaintenanceNet said: “Services represent an important renewable revenue stream that can add substantially to an organisation’s bottom line. Yet many vendors neglect their services business because of the management complexities involved.
“In EMEA, more and more vendors and their channel partners are recognising the value of service sales and they are turning to MaintenanceNet to maximise their efforts.”
Herron added: “Many of our customers in Europe have already worked with Andrew. He joins our team not only with hands-on experience with our technology platform, but also a working relationship with our staff and partners. Andrew is an excellent addition to our management staff and the ideal choice for growing our business in the region.”
