Sage names Circle of Excellence partners

Business software vendor Sage honours partners delivering good customer service

Sage used customer feedback to draw up list

Business software vendor Sage has given 15 of its partners the Circle of Excellence seal of approval in recognition of their attention to customer service.

The accreditation is given to the partners who receive the highest scores from their customers based on how likely they are to recommend their services to a friend or colleague.

The customers of over 1,000 Sage partners were polled during the drawing up of this year’s Circle of Excellence. Peterborough-based reseller DMC Software Solutions received the highest score overall, closely followed by ESPI and SICON.

Mike Ramsey, managing director at DMC, said the fact the accolade is based on customer feedback makes it a “significant achievement”.

“A big part in our success has been valuing the importance of communication and having in place a structure that means we talk to our customers all the time.”

The other remaining finalists honoured in the Circle of Excellence are Acuity, Concentrix, Datal, DCS Solutions, ISM Business Solutions, M2M Technology, Pinnacle, Prosys Computing, Quintech, Smith Cooper, Solutions for Accounting and Viking Management Systems.

It is the first time DCS Solutions has been listed as a Circle of Excellence partner – a fact it attributed to the “major investments in customer support and staff training” it has made over the last 12 months.

Steve Precious, managing director at DCS Solutions, said: “We have introduced a new freephone helpline, which is encouraging more customers to get in touch with us, and have taken steps to ensure that the calls that need to be referred straight to a Sage consultant reach the right person quickly.”

FD Systems, a former Circle of Excellence member, said appearing on the Circle of Excellence list is a “fantastic achievement.”

Geoff Thomas, managing director at FD Systems, added: “Competition is tough within the Sage channel and to achieve high scores and win a coveted place in the top 15, you not only have to deliver the solutions and fix the problems but it is essential that communication with your customers is always first class.”
