Infoblox distributors to identify UK VARs
Identity appliance firm seeks channel partners following UK launch
Network identity appliance maker Infoblox has launched in the UK, and is looking for channel partners to help it gain market share.
The vendor specialises in the management and protection of Domain Name Service and Remote Access Dial-In User Service.
Peter Foley, chief executive of Infoblox, said: "Initially, we will rely on distribution to help us manage recruitment. We are talking to several high-quality specialist distributors in the UK."
Foley added that the vendor will provide the chosen distributors with tools and training to recruit suitable VARs.
"There is a great opportunity for resellers to make a lot of margin in this [identity appliance] market. We are poised for growth through the channel," he said.
Clint Kaiser, director of information security for First Tech Credit Union, an Infoblox customer, said: "We spent just five minutes for the installation of the appliance and another five minutes for software installation.
"I expect [Infoblox's] technology to produce a 100 per cent return on investment within one year."
