SAP product flurry
vendor launches 39 new mySAP channel products in one go
Business management software vendor SAP has expanded its global vertical channel focus with the unveiling of 39 new mySAP all-in-one channel products.
SAP said each of the new software products, which were developed by partners, include built-in best practices for managing processes within a specific industry, such as biotechnology and plant construction.
Donna Troy, senior vice president of SAP AG, said: "Our mySAP All-in-One partners are as much a part of the solutions as the software, and these new offerings will help even more companies benefit from industry best practices and become best-run businesses with SAP."
The vendor claimed that mid-size businesses require the same advantages through business management software that larger business currently enjoy, but which are priced more competitively and provide a faster return on investment, among other features.
Separately, preliminary financial results released by SAP showed that it expects software revenues for its fourth quarter of 2005 to rise by 18 per cent to €1.18bn and full year total turnover to rise by 13 per cent to €8.5bn.
David Bradshaw, principal analyst at Ovum, said the results were positive for SAP.
"As SAP has made very few acquisitions of any appreciable size in the last two years, the growth is almost entirely organic. SAP's growth in EMEA is also good, given the comparatively low growth in most European economies," he said.
