Roger Baskerville: Resellers will have more revenue opportunities coming from new products

Server virtualisation specialist Vizioncore has assured partners that its forthcoming name change will be good news for their businesses.

The company, which was acquired by Quest Software two years ago, will become the Quest Software Server Virtualisation Management Group (QSSVMG) at the end of next month.

Roger Baskerville, vice president of sales for EMEA at Vizioncore, said partners had been provided with a rebranding kit via its partner portal to help ease them through the transition.

Baskerville also confirmed that enhancements to the vendor’s short- and long-term product roadmap were in the pipeline, as a consequence of Quest’s increased influence on the brand.

“The roadmap will be accelerated and resellers will have more revenue opportunities coming from new products, which are to be launched later this quarter.”

Brett Edgecombe, managing director of Vizioncore partner 101 Data Solutions, said:

“We received an email regarding the takeover, but it focused on the name change and there was no mention of product enhancements.”
