Centerprise opens the Pursey strings
Distribution group appoints new managing director as it switches its focus to acquisition and growth
Centerprise has appointed Richard Pursey as managing director of the Centerprise International Group of Companies.
His role will be to harness the combined skills of the management team and further strengthen the Group’s position in key sectors including public sector, systems integration, SME, disaster recovery and the intelligent video management/surveillance markets.
Former managing director Rafi Razzak will be taking on the new role of company chairman to focus on new business deals and acquisitions.
Razzak said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard on board. Having known him for many years I am confident that Richard is the right man to drive Centerprise forward and take it to the next level while continuing the Group’s steady growth.
“His appointment will enable me to focus my attention on negotiating the terms of new partnerships, acquisitions and joint ventures.”
Pursey said: “Centerprise has substantial financial strength and a superb client list. I will be working to migrate the group into a client-centric, high-margin services business. We will still continue to launch new products but will also introduce new services that underpin and protect all that we do.”
