ANS unites five housing associations under one roof

Manchester VAR merges IT systems for Guinness Partnership

ANS will integrate the IT systems of five housing associations

Manchester-based reseller ANS Group has been selected to assist the Guinness Partnership in integrating the IT systems of five housing associations.

The Guinness Partnership comprises five organisations: the Guinness Trust; Guinness Northern Counties; Guinness Hermitage; Guinness Midsummer; and the Gloucestershire Housing Association.

ANS has helped to design and implement a proof concept to consolidate the five existing infrastructures into one. Through this the Guinness Partnership will share a common domain structure with the same login process, filing systems and overall look, across all five locations and 2,000 users.

Paul Sweeney, managing director of ANS Group, said: “We have worked on a number of projects with the Guinness Partnership already, but we are pleased to be able to help the organisation on a more long-term basis for such an important task.”

“Such engagement provides them with considerably better value for money and enables us to build up a strong and lasting relationship as trusted advisers to the business. We are very much looking forward to nurturing this relationship and working with the Guinness Partnership in the future.”

Nealle Ball, head of ICT service delivery at Guinness Partnership, said: “Integrating infrastructures is always a challenging time both technically and also for the impact on our customers during the change.

“Having a relationship with ANS helps to minimise risks during the project as they bring with them considerable experience and technical expertise gained during similar projects with other organisations that in-house staff may not necessarily have.”
