Networking vendor extends US and European distribution agreement to UK

European expansion: Extreme has a pre-existing agreement with ScanSource in Europe

Extreme Networks has expanded its US distribution agreement with ScanSource Communications to the UK.

The networking vendor already has distribution agreements in place in the UK with Mayflex and Westcon, and has appointed ScanSource to help boost its profile within the region further.

Gary Newbold, UK regional director of Extreme Networks, said: “The company’s goal is to increase its market share in the UK by working closely with its partners.

“The appointment of ScanSource represents another step towards to achieving this objective.”

Patrick Zaman, vice president of ScanSource, said: “Adding Extreme Networks to our portfolio brings a great new opportunity to our UK reseller customers – even more so when you consider the existing partnership between Extreme Networks and ScanSource in Europe and US.”
