Support services firm and Birmingham-based VAR join up to offer managed network services
Stuck on you: the two firms want to "combine our joint experience, expertise and innovation"
Reseller Amillan and support services specialist Networks First have teamed up to offer end users a managed network offering designed to address all their voice and data needs.
The Amillan ManageCom package will be targeted at customers across a variety of sectors, including finance, retail, health, education, local government and the contact centre market. The two companies aim to provide an all-encompassing managed service which will address all support issues.
The duo will provide assistance with core functionality, as well as higher end applications such as unified communications, contact centres and collaboration technology.
Phil Jordan, managing director of Alcatel-Lucent Premier Partner Amillan, claimed Networks First's services expertise would allow customers to benefit from a quick fix if any issues arose with their network's performance.
“Our partnership with Networks First means we can now provide more value-added services to our customers, giving them the opportunity to have a fully managed service for voice and data," he added. "This will ensure we continue to build our strategic relationships with our customers as we can now provide them with advice and solutions for their entire voice and data infrastructure."
Networks First managing director Peter Titmus said: "We can combine our joint experience, expertise and innovation to provide exceptional converged network solutions and support services for end users. Amillan will be able to use all of Networks First’s services and by combining the skills of both companies, we will be able to deliver a complete proactive, fully managed service for voice and data.”
