Azzurri bags top HP certifications
VAR predicts a five-fold increase in revenue as a result of partnership
Azzurri has grabbed two top certifications from HP as the two firms unite to push local area network (LAN) upgrades to the UK market.
The VAR has become an HP Gold Preferred Partner and also secured a Master ProCurve networking specialisation. Azzurri is predicting that its revenue in this space will grow by five times this year.
Azzurri has already trained 12 sales, pre-sales and engineering staff this year and is expected to triple this number of accredited staff over the next 12 months.
Tony Corlett, head of ICT solutions for Azzurri Communications, said: “The combination of Azzurri’s managed services offering for unified communications, matched with HP ProCurve’s solution set, makes this a very attractive proposition for potential customers.
“We have already seen very strong demand across multiple sectors and we expect the partnership to grow new revenue in this market for Azzurri by up to five times this year.”
Adrian Tisi, partner manager for HP ProCurve, said, “ProCurve is a $1bn business globally and has recently seen significant amounts of R&D investment in order to target this market aggressively.
“The ecosystem we’re building to go to market is very much about working with best of breed partners that take the same open approach as we do, and Azzurri’s ability to implement, manage and support sophisticated converged LANs is going to be a huge asset for us.”
