Secerno adds Bross to its board

Security vendor appoints BT's chief technology officer Matt Bross as non-executive director to help its growth strategy

Database security vendor Secerno has added weight to its expansion plans with the appointment of Matt Bross to its Board of Directors.

With 30 years’ of experience, Bross is currently the chief executive of Innovate and BT Group chief technology officer where he is responsible for technology strategy, vision and innovation. His role will include providing strategic counsel to the vendor as it pursues an aggressive growth strategy.

Last month the vendor appointed Oracle veteran Ben Alder as its new EMEA director of partner sales to strengthen existing relationships and recruit new VARs.

He is most recently known for being the force behind BT’s 21st century network transformation programme.

Bross said: “I am excited to join Secerno and provide strategic counsel at a time when infosecurity is so crucial to individuals, businesses and governments. Secerno is a real innovator in this space given its intelligent approach to database security.”
In addition Bross is head of a global technology, research and development organisation which operates across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
