PC World Business unveils ISP broadband service for SMEs
PCWB guarantees to fix technical problems in 24 hours
PC World Business (PCWB) is launching an ISP broadband service for SME customers.
Richard Harrison, services director at PCWB, told CRN: “A lot of smaller businesses tend to buy a consumer broadband package. But consumer packages are slower, less reliable and can make customers wait a week before anybody comes out to repair the system if it breaks down. Our offering will guarantee that it will be fixed within 24 hours if there are technical problems and it will be faster than normal consumer broadband packages.”
PCWB has selected a national ISP to act as its partner for the service, but declined to reveal the name of the firm.
Harrison also said that PC World’s tie-up with AOL for its consumer broadband package will remain unchanged.
“The new service is a PCWB service purely aimed at businesses,” he added.
