Nimans helps VARs climb Avaya ladder

Distributor takes advantage of access to full portfolio by pushing SME resellers towards the higher end of the market

Distributor Nimans is hoping to help SME-focused Avaya VARs ascend the channel food chain and explore lucrative opportunities in the mid-market and the enterprise space.

Avaya recently opened up its entire product range to all distributors across EMEA and Nimans plans to use the extended portfolio to help resellers expand their reach. VARs will be guided through a step-by-step process designed to ease the transition from SME specialist to enterprise player.

Resellers taking part in the scheme will be given rebates based on the achievement of targets. Nimans will also co-fund pre-sales training.

The Salford distributor's Avaya business manager Sarah Linnett said: "This programme is designed to take the pain out of gaining accreditation. There will be dedicated account development management available but resellers will need to demonstrate they have the ability, desire and resource to move up with our support.”
