Tildesley: Five new staff have been added

Maverick has hired four staff members from a range of rival distributors for its UK office and one for Western Europe.

The hires were confirmed this morning by Maverick general manager Mark Tildesley.

Kate Moores has been hired from Steljes, where she was a senior marketing executive, and will take on the marketing manager role at Maverick UK.

Matt Keen, formerly of BrightStar, has been given the role of sales manager.

Jamie Hardiment is the new Northern field sales manager. Hardiment has previously worked for Elementary and Bullet Point.

Chris Mellowship has joined from Midwich to fill the business manager boots for Maverick UK’s projector and large-format displays business.

Waseem Ghos is the newest member of the European team, as business manager for Hotlamps Europe.

David Johnson, general manager at Maverick Europe, said in a statement: “Such a key appointment highlights our commitment to achieving our growth plans. We need to have talented people on board.

“Ghos’s appointment to the Maverick team allows me time to focus on other strategic areas of the business, knowing Hotlamps is in safe hands.”
