Mobile army enslaved by the laptop

A recent nationwide e-Mori survey has revealed that mobile computer users are dull, misguided and generally unlovable people.

A recent nationwide e-Mori survey has revealed that mobile computer users are dull, misguided and generally unlovable people.

Actually, what it said was that they work longer hours than the average worker, despite believing they are more productive with their time.

About 44 per cent of working laptop users work 45 hours or more per week, compared with the national average of 38 hours. So, instead of enjoying the sun or lunching with friends, mobile workers can't manage to leave their work in the office like other people.

Indeed, 20 per cent of mobile workers polled said they found it difficult to separate home and work life since getting their laptop.

Which just goes to show that under the slick titanium surface of the mobile workforce lies a blue fuzzy blanket crying to get out.
