Computacenter sales force undergoes rejig
Computacenter has reorganised its sales force, which includes the appointment of a UK sales director, in a bid to cover niche markets more effectively.
The reseller has promoted Andy Chudzik, a Computacenter veteran of 10 years, to oversee its UK sales operations as sales director.
Computacenter's sales force has been organised into eight teams that will cover both niche and geographical markets, each with a general sales manager who will report directly to Chudzik.
The teams will cover City and banking operations; commercial business, south (to cover business outside of the City of London); financial business, south; financial and commercial business, north; Scotland regional sales; government; open systems and sales administration.
Phil Williams, director of corporate marketing at Computacenter, said: 'The sales management teams have been reorganised to match vendors that are more vertically aligned.'
He added the majority of Computacenter's business was conducted in the south/south east of the country and the structure had been set up to reflect that.
The move follows the relocation from the Maidenhead sales office to Reading last year. The company now has 13 sales offices in the UK.
Chudzik was former general manager sales for the southern region and has occupied several sales positions at Computacenter.
