Liverpool manufacturer Brain Boxes has introduced what it claims is the only internal PCI faxmodem available (below). It has plug and play compatibility and a data compression transfer speed of 115.21Kbps.

Seiko Instruments has expanded its printer range with the introduction of two additional models - the Smart Label 120 and 220. They cost #150 and #185 respectively. The printers are both compatible with Windows 3.1 or higher and have a resolution quality of 203dpi.

Hitachi is increasing its bundling deal with Linotype as the vendor's software, View Open ICC, will be included with Hitachi's 19in monitor, the CM751ET. Linotype's software has already been bundled with other models in the range, including 17in and 21in versions. The bundle costs #899 but would be priced over #1,400 if the two products were bought separately.
