Midex sets sail

WEEE specialist wins project with Wightlink ferry firm

End of life IT and waste electrical and electronic (WEEE) service Midex has completed its first project for the Isle of Wight ferry company Wightlink.

Hants-based Midex will continue to support Wightlink with the collection of redundant IT equipment from the company’s offices in Portsmouth.

Under the terms of the agreement Midex will help the ferry company clear and process obsolete kit to meet government guidelines.

In addition to the contract wins, Midex is continuing to drive its seminar programme. The free seminars address the importance of safe and secure IT disposal to prevent further identity fraud in the UK.
