Iron-clad deal for AppSpeed
Vendor signs Virtual Iron Software to distribution contract
AppSpeed has secured a UK distribution contract with virtualisation vendor Virtual Iron Software.
The vendor has signed four new distribution partners across Europe. AppSpeed is the only UK partner.
Tim Walsh, product director at Virtual Iron, said: “We have really started to develop our channel over the past year and realised that we needed to provide local support and currency to our resellers. The only way to do that is through distribution.
“AppSpeed has a terrific name and we feel that it will give us the opportunity to accelerate growth and bring in the right partners.”
Mark Lardner, managing director of AppSpeed, said: “Virtual Iron is about 80 per cent cheaper than its rivals, which will help it appeal to the SME market.”
