Syscap reshuffles board
Sean Williams named as chief executive
Sean Williams has been named chief executive of finance, leasing and rental company Syscap after a recent boardroom reshuffle.
The company, founded by Williams and Phil Brook, was previously run in partnership by the two founders. But after a board meeting earlier this month it was decided that the chief executive's role should be rationalised into a single post.
Brook, director of the company and a shareholder, is in negotiations with both Syscap and his legal representatives. Because of this Brook has declined to comment to Computer Reseller News at this stage.
Williams said the board felt he was the "best" for the new post and he said he hoped that Brook would stay at the company. "He can still play a part," he said.
Williams also said the reshuffle would mean there would be "more focused decision making" at the company, and that this would allow it to "move forward quicker".
He said that customers and staff were being briefed about the change at the company, but said it was "business as usual".
