InTechnology makes voice heard
Integrator partners with Microsoft voice specialist POSTcti to offer fully-integrated UC service
Service provider InTechnology has partnered with Microsoft Gold voice specialist partner POSTcti to launch an integrated Unified Communications (UC) offering.
The firms have claimed that for the first time, the UC solution – a hosted Microsoft Office Communication Server service – features integrated IP telephony, video calling and audio/video conferencing on demand.
It is available on a pay-as-you-go basis and includes services such as email, IM, presence, shared calendars, shared desktops, video calling, conferencing and integrated hosted IP telephony.
Stefan Haase, marketing director at InTechnology, said: “Until now, UC solutions have had a vital link missing – voice. Our managed Hosted Unified Communications Service with integrated IP telephony offers businesses a lifeline.
“High-definition online video and conferencing features allow businesses to save costs, time and carbon emissions by offering a high-enough quality alternative to face-to-face meetings and conferences,” he added. “It is estimated that regular business travellers spend 11 days a year on avoidable or unnecessary travel, wasting at least £1,700 per person. Our service now offers them a viable alternative.”
Neil May, managing director of POSTcti, said: “We are very proud to be working with InTechnology, combining our proven skill sets and experience to be first to market with a hosted Microsoft Office Communications Server service, incorporating carrier-grade enterprise IP Telephony.
“The goal of Unified Communications is to reduce the time, cost and frustration associated with unnecessary delays in decision making - to bring together all the tools of communication that we use, allowing users to make decisions on how to communicate with each other based on the presence status of their contacts.
“Our new hosted offering will allow customers of all sizes to enjoy the flexibility of a centralised solution, which integrates with their day-to-day business processes, with minimal upfront investment,” he said.
