Konica moves to sign Duffy
Konica Minolta Printing Solutions appoints new channel sales director
Konica Minolta Printing Solutions has appointed Michael Duffy, a former Philips sales director, as its new UK channel sales director.
Duffy’s remit is to focus on building stronger relationships with the UK’s top 100 VARs.
“Konica has a well-established partner programme and the sales opportunities for resellers are immense,” Duffy claimed. “On a geographic base I need to make sure we’ve got reseller coverage across the whole of the UK. We want people who really understand the customers they are selling to.”
Duffy said Konica’s aim is to “be the natural alternative to Hewlett-Packard” for resellers.
Kevin Jones, managing director of VAR Printware, said: “Duffy seems like a good guy. The people at Konica have been good to deal with over the years. Konica also has very good account management at an operational level.”
