Comms-care mourns loss of managing director

Staff vow to continue business as usual in memory of Scott Yates who passed away at the weekend

Employees at channel IT support services provider Comms-care are shell-shocked following the death of their managing director Scott Yates at the weekend.

Yates was the founder of Comms-care in 2002, and used his own personal funding for the venture. Six years later Comms-care employs over 100 people, and has been submitted into the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100.

A statement from Comms-care said: “Our thoughts at this sad and difficult time are with his family and close friends. We will be doing everything we can to support those closest to Scott and will be making sure that it is business as usual, as this is what Scott would have wished for.

“Scott will be dearly missed by all.”
