Intact's US expansion plans have been boosted by the Millennium acquisition

Intact Integrated Services has branched out into the US market with the acquisition of Ohio-based Cisco service provider, Millennium Technology Services.

Acquiring Millennium was a strategic move, explained Intact, aimed at helping the firm push forward with the expansion of its Cisco services business across the US and Canada.

Bob Dalton, chief executive of Intact Integrated Services, said: “We have already worked closely with the team at Millennium on a number of major projects and it was clear from the synergy between our two organisations that acquiring and investing in the Millennium business could provide Intact with a fast-track entry into the US market.”

Jeff Hamilton, managing director at Millennium, said becoming part of Intact was an “exciting next step” for the company.

“Joining Intact now makes excellent sense for Millennium, particularly as the market accelerates into growth, and organisations look to optimise the performance of their IPT, Managed LAN and wireless networking activities across the region," he said.
